Set up your voice signature

Teach your phone your voice so it can cut echo and background voices.

  1. 1

Go to Profile › Voice signature. You must be 18 or older.

  2. 2

Read the notice. The signature is biometric data: it stays only on this phone, encrypted, and we never receive it. Tap I agree to continue, or Not now to skip.

  3. 3

Find a quiet place and tap Record. Read the text on screen aloud for 20–30 seconds; the amber meter shows the app is hearing you.

  4. 4

When it finishes, the app computes your signature and deletes the recording.

  5. 5

From now on, during calls, sound that is not your voice — the interpreter, a TV, other people — is cut before it is transcribed.

Good to know
Calls work without a signature, with weaker echo protection. You can delete it at any time: Delete your voice signature.
