The GPS miles of your crew’s closed shifts become the IRS mileage log of each company.

When your company uses MyTeamDay, the miles of every closed shift come to ByReceipt by themselves. Open Chart of accounts → Mileage (MyTeamDay):
- Company vehicles — the standard-mileage deduction (Schedule C line 9, or line 20 on Form 1120-S).
- Personal vehicles — what the company reimburses the driver at the same rate.
Each trip has the date, the driver, the destination (the job site), the miles and the IRS rate of that day — everything the IRS asks for in a mileage log. Download it as CSV. Use the standard rate or actual vehicle expenses, not both.
